It may not be a possibility for all subject areas but sometimes a Department has funding that they are able to offer a scholarship to a student - check with your supervisor or department to see if this is a possibility for you.聽
If they are able to offer a scholarship to you, they will need to send a 'Scholarship Request Form' with the details to the Scholarships Office. Get them to contact us if they have any questions.
Once we have received this Request Form, we will send you a formal scholarship offer. Once you have accepted this, if required, we can issue you with a scholarship confirmation letter which can be useful as proof of income if you are looking for visas, accommodation, banking etc.聽聽
